QUICK HISTORY | Friday Night Salsa Fix
Friday Night Salsa Fix (FNSF) “unofficially” opened it’s doors in January, 2012. It started out as a group of friends getting together to dance locally after a week of work. Personally, I was tired of the 3:00 AM drive back from the Toronto Salsa clubs.
The event has grown over the past 14 years, and I wanted to thank everyone who came out and dance with us. Thank you for your support.
QUICK HISTORY | Next Step Socials
Next Step Socials, also known as NSS, unofficially opened its doors in September 2025.
As the Flying Dance Community expanded into new cities, we noticed that it became harder for students in those communities to travel to Guelph for our weekly Friday social dance events.
That is why Next Step Socials was created.
NSS is a local monthly dance event where current students, past students, friends, and family members can come together, enjoy each other’s company, and spend time dancing in a welcoming community environment.
Everyone is welcome at these monthly events. Whether you are trying partner dancing for the first time or looking for a friendly place to practice what you are learning in class, NSS is the perfect next step.
